Summer camp fees are now due - to qualify for the the early bird summer camp fee ($210 vs normal fee of $220) I need your full payment of $210 at the next troop meeting on May 2nd.  If you paid 50% in March I'll need the balance due of $105.  If you do not wish to take advantage of the early discount then full payment of $220 is due in June prior to leaving for camp.  If you want me to take the funds out of your scout's camp fund just send me an email or see me at the troop meeting.

The Firecrafter Council has approved a new rank requirement for the Camper Rank.

"Demonstrate how to create a flame using one of the following methods: 1) magnifying glass, 2) Flint and Steel, or 3) steel wool and battery."

Hello Everyone!  We have gotten off to a great start this year.  With our new crossovers, we currently have 43 scouts registered with the Troop!  I also think that the boys are starting to make some progress on some of their ideas to make our Troop better!  2012 will be a year for focusing on our Patrols and helping to build a stronger Troop.

Good news for all of you Troop 265 summer camp goers! Pre-Camp Swim Checks have been moved to May 12th! They will still be held at Southport HS and we WILL be going! We will talk about at next meeting!
