A reminder to all that this Sunday Feb 5 is scout sunday. We will be attending noon mass at Our Lady of Greenwood. Full class A uniform please. Please arrive 30 minutes early so we can make arrangements to help with Mass.

I received an e mail from Mark Duncan, a scout? involved with our Troop in the 60's. Attached is a phot from 1967 of the Boys in Troop 265.

We are holding OA elections during the Feb 1st meeting this week. Also, all scouts should bring their advancement record (handbook) and partial merit badge blue cards to the meeting.

I have been approached by a few scouts who are concerned with requirement 9a for 2nd class;

"Participate in a school, community, or troop program on the dangers of using drugs, alcohol, and tobacco, and other practices that could be harmful to your health. Discuss your participation in the program with your family, and explain the dangers of substance addictions."

It is with a heavy heart that I send this announcement. Fr. Don Quinn, associate pastor of Our Lady of the Greenwood, passed away last night.
